Design for microtonal hexagon keyboard by Erv Wilson
Erv has used the term "gridiron" for this system derived
from the work of Bosanquet in the 19th century.
Ironically the term "gridiron" is also the term usually
used in connection with John
'Longitude' Harrison's celebrated mechanical invention for use with
clocks to compensate for changes in temperature in the 18th century.
