Pitch to Tempo as used with LucyTuned Lullabies and Beat Frequency data

The table below assumes that there is a direct relationship between pitch and tempo. By reducing the pitch by a number of octaves (in this case 8), a resultant tempo in beats per minutes results. It is suggested that the matching of tempo and frequency may produce a consonant effect.

Biological and psychological observations of low frequencies

Observations made of brainwave patterns suggest that varying levels of human consciousness display the responses as shown in the table below. Brainwave machines use these frequencies to entrain the brain, as programmed patterns of flashing lights, colours, and beat frequencies as selected by the user.

An analysis of beat frequencies generated by the first (19*2) =38 harmonic steps of LucyTuning resulted in beat frequencies of from .0722 to 1.6885 per cent of the fundamentally sounded frequencies.

For musical A3 (220Hz.), this resulted in beat frequencies of from .1588 to 3.6969 Hz. (i.e. in the Low Theta and Delta Ranges, and lower).

Beta above 12 Hertz Normal Waking normal state of alertness, stress, and anxiety
Alpha 8 to 12 Hertz Light Relaxation superlearning, positive thinking
Theta 4 to 7 Hertz Deep Relaxation meditation, increased memory and focus
Delta 1 to 3 Hertz Deep Sleep lucid dreaming, increased immune functions
